Dr. Matthew Sgouros is an Addiction Medicine fellow at East Tennessee State University. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine in Norton, Virginia and has a strong commitment to expanding access to mental health and addiction services in underserved and rural communities. His clinical and academic interests include integrated approaches to substance use disorders, the intersection of psychiatry and addiction medicine, and improving systems of care for vulnerable populations.
