Opportunity to Participate

The Tennessee Society of Addiction Medicine (TNSAM) is pleased to inform its members about an exciting research opportunity through Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s The Vanderbilt Oregon Collaborative Scholar Training in Addiction Medicine (COSTAR) program, an NIH-funded initiative designed to advance research and training in addiction medicine. This research program, housed within the V-POlaris framework, is dedicated to fostering the next generation of addiction medicine researchers and clinicians.

About the COSTAR Program

The COSTAR program provides structured research training, mentorship, and professional development for physicians, clinicians, and scientists committed to addressing the opioid crisis and improving treatment strategies for substance use disorders (SUDs). This initiative is designed to equip participants with the necessary skills to conduct impactful research, translate findings into clinical practice, and influence public health policy.

Participants in the COSTAR program benefit from:
